INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW SOD

Prepping, Installation, and Watering

A beautiful lawn just doesn't happen but there's a good way to start. With proper prepping of the existing soil. Be sure all of the old grass as well as the roots are completely removed. This can be achieved with a hoe or rake. Smooth out the soil surface with a rake removing any debris. Lightly water, then smooth again. Install new sod within 24 hours of receiving. Water at least an hour a day early in the morning everyday for the first ten days. Please keep in mind that some areas may need more water than others due to sun/shade.  Return to normal watering schedule after two weeks.

Fertilization, and mowing may be after 30 days of installation.

Please notify us within 48 hours of installation if you see any problems, or have questions about the sod.
